Oct 26, 2017 Java for macOS 2017-001 installs the legacy Java 6 runtime for macOS 10.13 High Sierra, macOS 10.12 Sierra, macOS 10.11 El Capitan, macOS 10.10 Yosemite, macOS 10.9 Mavericks, macOS 10.8 Mountain Lion, and macOS 10.7 Lion.

Three older versions of Java Web Start are currently available for download:

Java Web Start 1.4.2 is shipped as part of the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 1.4.2 release.

Java Web Start 1.2 is shipped as part of the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 1.4.1 (J2SE 1.4.1).

Java Web Start 1.0.1, is available as a separate download. -- it is not delivered as part of the J2SE platform.

Download Java Web Start 1.4.2

Java Web Start 1.4.2 is now available. It is intalled with the 1.4.2 beta release of the JRE/SDK.

Java Web Start version 1.2 is shipped as part of the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition, v. 1.4.1 (J2SE 1.4.1).
