Sep 23, 2013 In either case, I am trying to complete this request but the Google Apps Control panel (Not Google Apps for Business but the free Google Apps) does not seem to allow me to manage the email accounts. I have the ability to reset passwords and manage all the settings, however I cannot find anywhere that I can actually access the individual user. I want to login to my free Google Apps admin console. I goto here, click Sign in at the upper right corner, and select 'Domain Management' in the menu and sign in. I expect to see the admin console, but what I get is Email. I believe this once worked. I have no way to admin my domain now. When I go to this page, I get the following message.
Joel - Delegating a mailbox (from an admin perspective) is possible in Google Apps for Business / EDU / GOV, but only via 3rd-party applications or an API (and not the Control Panel). There is also a monitoring function that's accessible via API (or 3rd-party app) in any of the paid versions (or EDU), although it delivers emails in .txt files to the monitor's inbox, so I find people often prefer to use delegation instead, it's a little easier.
Our product (flashpanel.com) helps Google Apps admins access all of these email settings features, and much more, but unfortunately we've found that manipulation of these email settings in particular (delegation, monitoring, and signatures as well) is not possible in the free version of Google Apps.
