Hello,
IGEL provides the next-gen edge OS and endpoint security, optimization, and control solutions for cloud workspaces and virtual desktops. Use this post to build a virtual desktop that will be used as the parent image or source image for additional virtual desktops. There’s a separate article for RDS Session Host. This post applies to all VMware Horizon versions 7.0 and newer, including 7.12, 7.10.2 (ESB), and 7.5.4 (ESB).
We are using usb redirection instead CDR.
Until View Horizon Client 4.9, we were able to make disappear the menu 'Shared folders' in 'Options' by adding the registry key 'ForcedbyAdmin=true' and it also disabled CDR popups.
But the behavior changed with 4.10 .... the menu is still in the options and the client asks if we want to do a CDR share like user folder and suchs.
Is there a correct way to make disappear again the 'Shared folders' options and the CDR popup at login with Horizon View Client 4.10?
Thank you!

To prevent the client from sharing additional folders (that is, folders that are not specified with the default shares key), create a string value named ForcedByAdmin and set its value to true.

When the value is true, the Sharing dialog box does not appear when users connect to the remote desktop in Horizon Client. The value is false (clients can share additional folders) by default.
